Hello, folks from Tarkov!
This is not a standard "I have this problem and dont know why"-thread, more like a documentary about a problem i had (spoiler: its in the identify) and how i mounted it. This would possibly or will not be an obtrusive thing, but it surely took me a number of days until i after all pinpointed the issue and a couple of hours to mend it, so possibly it comes in handy to anyone else. Warning: It is also a little technical.
THE PROBLEM I HAD (AND WHAT I COULD HELP YOU WITH)
Iam enjoying this recreation for several years, for the reason that beginnings of the alpha. Made it through a lot of technical mistakes and issues Tarkov had and most of the time, the entirety worked.
A few weeks ago spotted a problem i never had sooner than: Tarkov crashed constantly while loading the "reserve" map and in a relatively odd method. My screens gone black for a few seconds, sometimes even stayed so but my pc kept working (may inform so, because i was in teamspeak with some people and could still talk with them). Sometimes it simply crashed with the ominous tarkov crash reporter telling me to ship the logs to the devs (which i did more than one occasions). I first ignored the problem as i hardly ever enjoying reserve.
A few days ago, it started on shoreline. And after that on each and every unmarried map. I may at all times reconnect to my video games and it labored most of the time, but was once never able to directly start the raid due to the crash.

SOLVING THE PROBLEM
After i took a glance within the logs, Tarkov stated it crashed because of an out-of-memory issue. Strange, as i have a variety of RAM and no longer even 60% of it was ever used by Tarkov, as my process manager instructed me. Searching for a solution, i got here throughout a thing called "pagefile" and take a look at if its as it should be configured. Suggestion is to let the machine organize it and thats what it was once on my system so i stored it this manner. Short and simple: The pagefile is an RAM extension controlled by way of Windows in the type of a document stored in C:\. So i took a look on power C and i was a number of area left on my SSD for Windows, so this shouldnt be an issue. I additionally found a strategy to test if theres sufficient "virtual memory" (as its referred to as) left for Windows and other techniques to perform. You can see it within the "resource monitor".
Heres learn how to open it (on Windows 10, should be mostly the same for different home windows versions, otherwise google it):
Open Task Manager (either through STRG+ALT+DEL or by way of right-clicking the duty bar) Switch to the tab "Performance" Click on the Link within the bottom of the window that says "Open Resource Monitor"This track is very useful, as it shows what your system is doing at the moment and what is the usage of what in case of RAM, CPU etc. I took a closer look on the "Memory" tab and the three graphs on the correct. First on displays the volume of used bodily RAM, the second one the amount of used virtual RAM and the third one displays the quantity of mistakes in step with 2nd.
The 2d one confirmed me my problem. As i putted the graphs on my 2d track and ran Tarkov, the virtual ram usage spiked while loading a map. At the moment it reached 100%, Tarkov creashed.
But how can that be? My Windows-SSD had about 10 Gigabyte area left (it's A hundred GB in general) and as i wrote earlier, Tarkov best used about 50-60% of my physical reminiscence. Soooooo....
SOLUTION TL;DR;
I made more space on my Windows SSD. Simple as that. Either delete information your self or let "Windows Disk Cleanup" do it. In my case, there have been many elderly *.dmp and transient information that used much house on my drive.
Reason at the back of this is, in case you let Windows set up the pagefile it'll all the time stay some area "reserved" for Windows to work. As it kind of feels this is 10% of the power. And in the event you do the mathematics, thats exactly what happend: 10 GB left on my SSD which is about A hundred GB giant and subsequently Windows refuses to make the pagefile/my digital RAM larger for Tarkov to operate. Tarkov crashed on reserve first, as it's the greatest map to load and after some time, one thing used extra space on my Windows force and all of the other maps crashed, too.
Also, there is one other TEMPORARY resolution which I DONT RECOMMEND but that would help to check if this is your drawback in the first position: Manage the pagefile your self. Because if you happen to give it a customized size Windows wont reserve his 10% of the force, which CAN CAUSE BIGGER PROBLEMS IN THE LONG RUN. So watch out! Just google "how to manage the pagefile manually" if you wish to have to take a look at that.
Thats what worked for me and i'm hoping i this works for any person else who has this downside.
P.S.: As it's possible you'll guessed, english isnt my first language, so iam sorry for any spelling errors...
